Process and Features
Audience and Tools: I led the development of the "Salesfloor Inventory Management" e-learning module, designed to train new employees in effective stocking practices. I took charge of this project at a retail establishment, utilizing Articulate Rise and Canva to create a comprehensive training program.
Business Problem: In response to increased customer complaints, store management requested an engaging training tool to teach new employees how to maintain a well-stocked sales floor and accurate inventory. This interactive module focuses on job relevance and application to enhance the customer experience.
Process: I meticulously developed this comprehensive training module utilizing the ADDIE model in close collaboration with store management as subject matter experts. Their invaluable insights were instrumental in ensuring the training's relevance and effectiveness. Moreover, through careful observations and employee interviews, the content was further enriched, resulting in a practical and comprehensive module. The training incorporates content grouping, scaffolded applications, job-specific examples, interactive experiences, and thorough knowledge checks. It equips employees with the knowledge and confidence to maintain a fully stocked sales floor and accurate inventory, leading to more efficient and effective sales floor management.
Evaluation: Level 2: Learners assessed their understanding through knowledge checks and assessments within the module. Level 3: Management evaluated the training's impact through observations, comparisons of sales floor stock levels before and after training, interviews, and customer feedback.
Solution: Management confidently reports that the training has dramatically enhanced employees' capability to elevate the customer experience and uphold precise inventory practices on the sales floor.
